2. What this website does

The topics.watch website provides information about the monitoring service and enables interested organisations to make contact and request samples. The monitoring service itself processes data about legal entities only (companies, organisations, institutions). Natural persons are not monitored, analysed or profiled as subjects.

3. Server log files

When you visit this website, your hosting provider automatically collects and stores certain information in server log files, including: IP address (truncated where technically possible), date and time of access, pages or files accessed, volume of data transferred, referring URL, browser type and version, operating system.

Purpose: Technical operation, security and fault analysis.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and stable website.
Retention: Log data is deleted after 14–30 days at the latest.

4. Contact form and email contact

When you use the contact form or send us an email, we process: your name, company name (optional), email address, and message content.

Purposes: Responding to your enquiry; preparing and executing pilot or subscription agreements where applicable; maintaining a record of communications.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, where your enquiry relates to a concrete offer or agreement. Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in managing business contacts, for general enquiries.

Retention: We retain contact data for up to 24 months from last contact, or longer where statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Third-party disclosure

Personal data is shared with third parties only: with technical service providers (e.g. hosting, email) acting as processors under Art. 28 GDPR; where we are legally required to do so; or where necessary to enforce legal claims. Transfers outside the EU/EEA take place only where an adequate level of data protection exists or appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

6. No tracking or profiling at MVP

At this stage of the service, we deliberately do not use tracking cookies or analytics tools. Only the technical and communication data described in this notice is processed.
